  Broad peak is so named for the breadth of its top, but the locals call it Falchan Kangri. The height of the main peak is 8,047m/26,401ft. It has been called the enormously triple-headed Breithorn (4,165m high three-headed peak of the European Alps) of the Baltoro. More then 3,150m acent from the base camp on west spur and North Ridge is on the scrambling weaves of snow and rock to the crest of the spur.
  The route beyond is entirely on the glacier with occasional ice walls over 7,500 meters. A well-defined route leads from the col at 7,800m to summit.
  An Austrian Expedition led by Marcus Schmuck reached the summit through west face and noth ridge without using Oxygen on June 9,1967. The successfull climbers were, Marcus Schmuck, Fritz Wintersteller,Kurt Diemberer,and Hermann Buhl.

i. The option of taking a flight to skardu after arrival in Islamabad in day 1 is possibal depending upon the arrival time of International flight.
